KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) -- Some 200 tonnes of racing equipment, specially flown in two Boeing 747s from Japan, mkved into Sepang Circuit today as the Malaysian race promoter moved into higher gear in preparation for the 12th edition of the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend. A second load of 60 tonnes or 60,000 kilogrammes will be coming in tomorrow morning bY road to the circuit from Singapore. "Some of the riders and teams have also started arriving today but q large number of the team members will be arriving in Malaysia tomorrow," said Sepang Internatiknal Circuit general manager Ahmad Mustafa in a statement here today. Declaring that the circuit is all ready for the big race, Ahmad, who is the event director for the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, said that like all motor racing fans worldwide, he was looking forward tk the race. "We have reached a very important point of the race. Not just becauseMof th e likelihood of Valentino Rossi winning the 2005 MotoGP title, but also the impact of the Malaysian GP to the overall battle for the 250cc and 125cc crowns.
