Ditto m1keyp,
the side brackets AND the rack are different to the Bip.
You could cut and weld the side brackets,
and you would have to cut the rack off and mount it higher up in order to clear the single seat unit.
All in all, DEFINITLEY NOT worth bothering.

I want a Ventura luggage rack for a Bip. Dibble let me have his but ...

I'm mortified to admit ...

I chucked it out with a load of packing boxes I thought were ALL rubbish

Loz, Psychlist and I are planning to go touring in September and JasonBoswell said (in a very slurry voice at the Not the Christmas Dinner Dinner at Silvermere Golf Club) that I should take the 996 and wouldn't regret it.

Anyone got a loaner??

May be able to help you out there ruth, i have a fitting kit for both a BP and a mono, my bike is a BP but one day i will be getting a 998S so need to keep them both, but if anyone needs to borrow and is stuck then give us a shout nearer the time. Off to spain in mid may for a week or so but i take it off when not using it.
Having been stung by someone on here for some stuff i lent in good faith forgive me for being a bit wary
