I would have said yes as I removed the later type from my 620 engine after it leaked at the Cadwell trackday and fitted the earlier one with the spade connector. I modified the harness bypearing off soe of the insulation on the original connecting wire and Ting in a piec of wire fitted with a 1/4" spade terminal. It worked fie at the final DD round
I believe the pressure switch off a Vauxhall Aguila (sp?) 1.1 is pretty much identical and a straight swap, costs a couple of pounds from your local car parts place.
