Depends what goes wrong, if anything!

Ducati are very good with their warranties - far better than any Japanese manufacturer. Where there is a known problem, such as the chroming of the rockers, Ducati have even replaced parts on bikes that are out of warranty.

At worst you will be looking to pay the labour charge, with Ducati covering the parts. The use of the bike does not matter, as long as you've had it serviced according to the schedule.

I have a 52plate 748 aswell as my 749s and just stuck the 748 in for its 6000 service and they have even replaced the side stand cos he said he didnt like the way it leaned whilst on the stand and I'm not going to complain if its for free oh plus 2 rockers. so well worth it.
