If it has Brembo cast in it, it probably means it's a Brembo wheel, not Marchesini.

My 748s has the 5 spokes and and have brembo cast on the inner of one spoke, and when the tyre is removed a big red and white sticker saying 'Brembo'.

I read some where before that Marachesini could not keep up with demand from ducati so brembo did them and stuck on a Marachesini sticker

It came about when Ducati changed to the 5 spoke wheel as their standard wheel. Brembo cast the wheel under license. So it it's the standard 5 spoke wheel that came on the bike from new then it's a Brembo.

Also, you can usually tell proper Marchesini mags as they have no lip on the spoke, so they are completely flat.

However, while at the factory last week we noticed that all of the wheels going onto the new Monsters (S4R, S2R, etc) were plain ol' Brembo 5-spokes but without the ridge that made them look like mags.
