Long Shot...
Looking for anyone who has or who knows where I could possibly locate a FIM Ultimap chip for a 1998 748sps.

Cool
I think Ultimap closed their doors quite a while ago now (anyone?)

Q. Have you tried calling John Hackett / JHP / Ducati Coventry to see what they can offer?

You could also give Neil at Cornerspeed in kirkby in Ashfield a ring as well, he has a fair bit of knowledge of the FIM chips.

I have a couple of FIM's for 888's.I don't know if they are compatable(ie just re-write the software?) but I know that a PCIII from a 748 can be rewritten for a 888!!

May not need one now but have managed to track the person down who originally produced the chips. His name is Duane Mitchell and currently works for Motec in Melbourne (Australia) for future reference.
