Anyone know where you can get NON quick release Dzus fasteners ?

Anyone know where you an get the non quick release Dzus from ? the ones that are like those with the ring on them, but dont have the ring and have a slot head instead ?

Have bought some gold Dzus from tastynuts, but want a couple of the gold non locking ones as well to stop scallies being able to run off with half my bodywork too easily

I think you can get them from tasty nuts, you can definately get them from Aeroquip.
Why not just pull the D rings off yours leaving just the slot?

The ones I've got from tastynuts dont have the slot, just the ring and the head of the fastener is smooth - suppose I could pull off the ring and just use pliers to remove them though...

Hi Mike

DZUS do a tamper resistant stud which requires a key.

I have alway though that this would be a good idea as unless you are Frankie Chili etc why do you need quick release?

The idea of returning to the car park at Silverstone next weekend to find some S**t has swapped panels is not pleasant one.

They are on page 41 of the DZUS catalogue part number 316 6L 1 XX
(the XX bit is replaced by the length you require) The part number for the key is 306 007 969.

Tel 01252 714422 www.dzus.co.uk

Cheers Mike

try Trident at Silverstone or any of the other race parts suppliers like Clarendon etc. They all have 'em in a range of lenghts and styles.
