Modified main fairing mounts....900ss

well....today I planned a little blast out and only needed to put my left hand fairing lower in place....

A great time for the well-nut to decide to destroy itself on the main fairing mount near ones knee!!!

Well, since I have a small 'mushroom' on the outside there (just in case), I decided it was time to strenghten the whole affair anyway.

A local industrial fastners shop has supplied me with mild steel 6mm X 120mm allen bolts and after drilling down the mounting tube with a 6mm bit the fairing is now lovely and solid and yes I did remember to use a nylock nut on the other side of the frame member

For a couple of quid and 30 minutes work, I'm well chuffed !!!!
