Swingarm guard

Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere that makes a swingarm guard for the later swingarms? The race bikes (RS/F0....) get a guard on the braced area which would/could of saved my s/arm after the off....

Felix,

JHP have a Haga bike in and it has a guard and I asked John about them and he did think about knocking one out, I have a contact who can get me any part up to RS spec and will have to check the 999RS04 catalogue and see if he can get one, problem is will the RS spec one fit a road swingarm?

I think you missed this one!!!!

If you're seriously interested in a swap, we should talk, otherwise there maybe a 749R heading my way shortly.

Tim,

You know the story yourself, look at you now got a great GREAT bike sitting there and you want to swap?

Here's me a bit fed up with all the hassle I've had (in the grand schemes of life it's nothing is it?) and part of me wants to get shut for something reliable and know I can turn the key and it will start every time but ultimately it's a bike with passion and history and a Ducati, thus having that feel

The ZX will get virtually no use from me this year, all trackdays will be on the Monnie (if it gets through CC trackday) - so I will sell it.

If it meant that we could sort a deal that helped you and me, then its worth investigating - if not, no worries.

I'll buy some Italian exotica this year, it may be a MV, or Ducati or similar, who knows....

You should keep the 999R - you know it too, but if you want to borrow the ZX for a while to sample life on the other side, you're very welcome.

Tim
