Öhlins off a Aprillia
Another forks question.

Will Öhlins front shocks off a Mille R 2002 model fit on a 916???

No idea. Ohlins forks off the RSV are 51mm external diameter in the yokes I think, and they taper outwards nearer the wheel spindle. Not sure what the dimensions of the 916 yokes are?

I think the 9**/748 are 42mm. I think Skids is your man on this one.

No they don't fit, not unless you get someone like Harris to sort you out a set of yokes with the stem for a Ducati mated to yokes for the Aprilia, I know because I had a set of Ohlins from a RSV and measured them up and as there wasn't a sensible way to get them to fit the 916 yokes I asked Steve Harris.
So I sold the RSV forks and picked up a set of 748R Ohlins for £100 more, works out a lot cheaper than getting a set of billet yokes made.

The lengths are also different. Shorter I think.

Or was it longer, then there were spindle issues, clip-on issues and so on, more hassle than it was worth, £100 was the cheap way out
