Yeah, the owner made the normal mods...cheap stuff...no exhaust, wheels, or anything like that...no power commander or anything. That's what I meant by stock. Sorry. As for the white front plate, I have seen quite a few 996s with it..so.....I dunno. Maybe it's a US model thing.

as with all bikes just make sure you are 100% B4 you buy.
as with the number board its quite a popular touch but only the SP SPS & R bikes come with number boards and that still only on the back seat (single)
anyway hope you enjoy the bike sure you will get better whether than us,

Cool, thanks. Cosmetics are no biggie...and the dealer is signing all the legal paperwork that they are standing behind that it has not been wrecked, salvaged, rebuilt, whathaveyou. So, for that price, I can't go wrong. I can always sell it for a profit later if need be...like if I cannot afford the maintenance on it. I heard it's quite expensive.

The more your ride it the less trouble you will get, nothing likes sitting around in a garage , Ducati's were made for riding, get out and ride it . All mechanical things need mantainance, thats the price for having fun, good oil changes, serviced when required and the Duke will give trouble free service. lke my 98 996 with 22,000 miles on the clock. Regards 4D
