No worries. Oh, and try B&C Express as their sprockets are about £18 quid delivered for genuine Renthal ones for rear, and about £12 for front, again Renthal ones. http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/ |
You can just manage 14/44 with a 98 link chain as the rear wheel will be fully forward in the swingarm, 14/42 will be better. If you have 100 links in your chain then the rear wheel will be nearly fully back with 14/42 so providing your chain isn't to worn you should be OK with either 98 or 100 links |
B and C have said this - The only difference between the two kits is the gearing, one is 15/43 with a 102 link chain kit number 5007,and the other is 14/41 with a 102 link chain kit number 5008. I need a new chain as well you see... Will 102 be too long ? |

Just buy your own chain and sprockets separately! You need a 520 x 98 chain (I'd go with the Tsubaki Alpha X Gold X-Ring chain @ £52) and a matching 14t (£17) and 43t (£18) sprockets. Remember that the monster and all SS bikes use the same front and rear sprockets, so just pick what you want! |
