MCN cack as usual. Not a chance Ducati will produce something that goes backwards styling-wise. You can just imagine the press headlines berating Ducati for it. It may get a mild make-over but I suspect BDG will still not want to buy it. ;)

Don't you own a Multistrada as well, Shaun? That must make your 996 look positively prehistoric.

possible the road bike would be 1200cc and the R spec 999 to keep with the rules. bit like the kawa 600's

if the new rules dont allow 1200 in wsb.... but that another story!

1200 cc would be nice yes but how can people say they would buy one if mcn are right with there design when they hate the 749/999 when what they are looking at is a 999 with a dated swinger and dated lights. i have had 748 996 still luv them now but my 999r red frame black swinger is in a different league the trouble with having a ducati is you get to attached to it as we all know so when anything new comes along we or should i say 916/996/998 get all defensive and attack:mad: but you really should have a better look or even have a go because from the clocks to the exhaust its one of the most upto date bikes out there:P
