It is a 70 profile tyre . |
Agree change to 70 profile front, problem solved. |
As a starting guide, try 15 mm rear and 25 mm front static sag. Running wide usually means the rear is squatting too much in relation to the front. This can be due to a number of factors, but static sag must be checked first. After that maybe the rear ride height is too low, or the spring is too soft for your weight. How heavy are you and what's the spring rate (printed on the spring)? |
So its not just me then.............................. |
Does it run a 180 or a 190 rear ????? |

running wide 2 Attachment(s) simple guide to checking suspension. Don't need a stand, get a mate to pull the bike up on its side stand. Settings in your manual provide std settings. |
WAto.... get yourself down to LouigiMoto in the next few weekends with me and a few of the boys.... hoping to make it down the weekend after next. He will set up your bike so it turns amazingly.... I've ridden a 996 and a 748 recently and neither handle even close to how mine is.... Possibly if being picky i'd take 1 click off each of the back end to soften it slightly... Drop me a pm to sort if you fancy it... |
