Marquee for Cadwell
 

Spoke to Mick Brown at Cadwell,there would be no problem setting up the Marquee for the weekend.
Have made contact with the guy that supplied the one we used at TA4 ,it measures 100 ft x40ftand will cost £892.50 +vat (1048.68).
Taking 35 as the number of entrants that works out at £30 per bike.
Ill pass this over to you lads for some feedback.

good work on your part, and it would be really good to all be together in there for the bar b q and getting ready for the races all in the same place.

i think its a top idea.

Would be good to do it at every meeting next season - better than having everyone all over the place in little groups etc.

Is that possible at the same price?

just what i was thinking.

already set up at each round ready to go. a few ducati sporting club banners outside etc etc. i guess cost is a big issue though.

and anyway i've shelled out for an awning this year :(

Asumming 35 entrants there should be 1112 sq ft each or a spce approx 3 metres x 3 metres.

Not such a silly question! All riders, yes. All bikes, yes. All tents.... probably not, but then not everyone camps. If I remember rightly from TA4 there were about 10 tents in there, plus tables & chairs for 50 people, and all the bikes (about 30).

I'm in for £30, thereby guaranteeing perfect weather for the whole weekend! :lol:

Probably best to post a poll to see who will have tents for DD.

Would it be £1000 each round if the guy had a guaranteed booking for all the DD rounds and a track attack? I would have thought that sort of business would start talking discounts?

I would have thought it would be quite difficalt for one firm to cover all the rounds for next year,purely on a distance basis(but i will ask) i think we could do as good a deal locally at each venue (exept Assen).

If the (new) wife doesn't slice my gonads off with t' bread knife for even CONSIDERING doin' DD next season we would more-than-likely want "in" on the circus tent.

Don't be too negative just yet Butch, not all the DD riders view the forum and it's been a day and a half since this was raised, and it sounds like there are another 20 odd riders looking to enter DD next year as well.

How about getting Chris to do an email shoot thingy???

Will give it untill next friday before making a decision.
I will speak to Chris and get him to mail all entrants for cadders.
One thought though ,how would people feel if the majority pay there share of the marquee only to have othre competitors trying to get there bikes in?
