I recently purchased a 748s 2001my I need to stop up on the boggo tools I need so please advise -
1.does anyone know the nut sizes for removal of the rear wheel - I intend to buy 1/2" drive sockets 2.is there a specific tool / size for adjusting the eccentric hub? 3.what size torx? screwdriver / socket is needed to remove the screen?
Has anyone found / caused any electrical / alarm problems by wiring a =ve and -ve wire onto the top terminals so as to allow a plug in of a battery conditioner?
Its currently on standard dragon evo (corses?) - what road tyre pressure is everyone using?
1: 46mm wheel nut side/ 41 mm sprocket side/ 28mm front wheel
2: The tool for the hub should be in the tool kit...looks lke a large C spanner with a box section piece for the handle.
3: Torx 7 I think?
4: No problem with connecting up a charger to the battery...have optimate terminals on mine.
5: Tyre pressures are a personal thing...but 36 psi front and rear will put you close. Theres a great post by shazzam somewhere on here about tyre pressures and working them out to suit your riding style. Try a search on it.

Halfords do a spanking little socket set in their Professional range that has all the tork bits as well. I think it was around 25 squid and comes in a little box etc. Always goes with me on track days.
As for the tie wrap, lockwire will do the same. Good idea, but not strictly neccesary - that said I never go out without!!!
If you don't know how to "do" lockwire, drop me a line and I'll give you the benefit of years of RAF experience
