oil consumtion

can anyone say what "normal" oil use is for an st2 as i've noyiced today that mine is a bit low.
did not think mine even used any up atall before today but i had it changed about 3K ago, and its now just below half way(between the lines) on the little oil window.
this sound normal to you?
after topping it up it dont seem like a lot of oil, about a quart of a little bottle if not less

It’ll also depend on the type of oil used….fully synthetic is less inclined to evaporate then semi synthetic.

Hello Glyn,
my ST4 used a Litre of oil between services. I didn't think this was a problem. The one ting I did notice was that the harder I used it the more it used. When I was chasing keefyB it used more oil then normal. So have you been using the bike harder than normal. At about 14000 miles it stopped using oil at all, so it just goes to show Bikes are like Women unprodictable.

im not to worried about a bit of consumtion its just ive never noticed it before and thought it was worth asking the question.

and as for bikes being like women i dont think so
MY BIKE.
i know just what button to press to start her up.
and she warms up nice n quick
i get to have a ride most days
she's reliable
don't mind a good thrashing
and the last time i tried hanging out the saddle to get me knee down the bike didn't slap me round the head
