Blowing away the cobwebs - careful please!

'Wot no SS posts' once again - well I was going to leave one tomorrow but what the .....

Great spin out this afternoon after about 4 weeks off the bike and riding Jap stuff.

Only a short trip over to the beloved Hemsley but I came away so impressed with the Dragon Corsa's I'd put on. I was a bit hesitant as I could feel the temperature drop in the tree-lined forest climb to 'clay-bank' view point but, after that the tyres seems to be insulted by me going so slowly....

light mud, damp patches and even painted white lines were shurgged off and both tyres instilled confidence in me. I even managed to get them 'warm' 33 miles later but sadly, without even time for a cuppa in Hemsley.

I think we all expect mud/manure etc on the roads this time of year but, damp patches on the edge of the road especially, in shadow from a low sun deserve close attention I think - but there again, in this neck of the woods it could well be my last road ride this year anyway

Cheers - Frank
