Just checked settings in my manual...
Those on the PDF are ST4, for the 4S the front forks ( p26 ) are the same but for the rear shock, rebound is 14 clicks out, compression 14 clicks out & spring length 149.5mm - these all relate to the 2001 model year ST4S.
Cheers
Andy

Maybe there are diferent rear shocks that they use? My compression adjuster is under the seat, its not a piggy back unit and the adjuster doesnt have clicks!!

when i first got mine(st2)she had a habbit of eating the sides of the front tyre and bein a bit rough on real roads in corners
set the front up a fair bit softer and upped the rear ride hight and she was a new ride altogether

Guys
I found with my ST4s (2001) that it took some time to get it "right" and fiddling by myself with the settings via the riders manual was hopeless. In the end I consulted with a chap that knew what was what at Olins in Sweden - pdf's n 'phone calls did the job. That got it sorted front n back perfect for me - solo, panniered, in twisty alps and at high speed on motorways. Suspensions settings really are a black art!
