Any X Box/gamer experts out there.? Help/advice needed !

ve had someone offer me a 12 month old boxed x box with the following games in return for a mini moto ive got in the garage..

Halo
Halo 2
XIII
wreckless
Amped snowboarding
Time splitters 2
Project Gotham racing
Project Gotham racing 2
Jet Set radio future, Sega Gt 2002 (one special edition disk).
Splinter cell
Max Payne
The lord of the rings: The two towers
Dark summit
Turok Evolution
Dynasty Warriors 3

Im not really upto speed with these sort of things (ive got a PS2 but just use it for DVD's really).

Question..are the attached games any good and what value would you put on all of it ? (im assured its all boxed - including games, and in immaculate condition!) Im told hes spent over a grand on it all !!

Any advice appreciated..if its good value might take it for a bit of a laugh, and it something else I could play with my little lad (although I appreciate some of the games may be a bit technical for a 3 year old ! !!)

Cheers
Nat

If you value your Mini moto at less than 300 quid do the deal.

Some very good games / some Im not sure off.
Would question that he has spent a grand unless he got X-Box before price crash and every game at launch. To buy the console and those games now would cost around £500 I would guess if you shopped around.

In a similar vein, I'm really tempted by a PS2 (GT4 coming out in a few days!) but know I just won't have the time to play it (as well as the xbox and a bunch of games I've yet to play).

Agree with jobr's comments - Halo, JSRF and GT2002 were all bundled with the xbox when it came out. Figure on about £80 for the box and these, and an average of £20 for each of the other games.

Make sure you send off for the replacement lead (free - just register on the xbox website) - there have been cases of overheating and fires started if left on for extended periods).

ps Nat, is there anything you don't deal in??!!!

Dont do it!

Even with all those games it wont be worth more than 200 secondhand, and if you dont use the PS2 for games then you wont appreciate the finer points you get with the Xbox, I've got one and the only games worth getting off my PC for are Halo/2 and I'd still rather be out on my bike

Me too TP!

Don't swap it. You can pick up most of those games for £10 or so each on ebay so total would only be about £250 including the xbox.

Chris.

I used to know a young lady who worked in the "game" industry, (thats not the game, she was someone else and I deny all knowledge) and one thing she always said were games were only ever delayed for two reasons, the game is crap or that the software had a major glitch.
Hope not as TT looks the best racer so far .
