Fibreglass repairs

I have some scratches to repair and (from searches on the net) it appears I need to use some 'gelcoat filler' from someone like Plastic Padding. This comes in white and you then add colour to it depending on your requirements. Since I'm going to respray the whole lot I guess the gelcoat colour doesn't matter too much.

Does anyone have experience / advice on doing this type of repair?

Eamonn as Brancato Engineering isn't to far from you pop in and have a word with Tony, not only is he making the fairings etc for some of the Desmo Due racers but he has also offered a repair service.

Buy it in a tin from Halfrauds for less than a tenner. It's a top-up for their fibreglass repair kit they sell, but will be fine for what you need it for.

Comes in a yellow square metal container, about the size a good hardback book.
