School was never like this in my day!

My daughters class had a great lesson yesterday,....Speedway!
Some of the local speedway team showed up with their bikes and gear for a talk with the kids. They all got complementary tickets for a speedway meeting plus autographs and a chance to sit on the bike, etc. My daughter is a big bike fan and loved every minute.
How cool was that?!

Yep,thats them.
They had their greatest season a couple of years ago when they won the Elite league and KO Cup.What a line up tho,Ryan Sullivan,Jason Crump,Sam Tesar to name a few.

Me and my dad used to go to watch the Ellesmere Port Gunners every friday. Loved it to bits. If it was a summer evning we would go on his CB550K3 and come home covered in red dust and stinking of Castrol R.

Happy days..

My Uncle had the CB750K4 at the same time. Must be about 27 years ago now.
