Many years ago I fitted an 851 fairing to a 900ss, I seem to remember that the mounting points were the same and the only butchery required was aroung the exhaust pipe. The collecter bit being a bit further forward on the 900ss.

I'd love to do it as I think it would improve the looks of the bike no-end, but I have a feeling the air flow for the motor would be compromised. And I dont think it would be right without the side panels/seat unit, which would make cooling matters worse, I think.....

I just have to dream on about one of these babies then

Think the 888 was in MCN this week.....£3995!.......Dunno if the bloke selling it couldn't stop the ad or what, sounds like he didn't get what he wanted for it tho.....
