UK bike clubs?

Anyone know which are the biggest bike clubs (in terms of membership) in this country?

The reason I ask is that apparently the PO are issuing some stamps in July featuring the Royal Enfield, Brough Superior, Triumph Speed Twin, Vincent Black Shadow, BSA Rocket and Norton F1 and I have had a very nice letter from a lady who collects first day covers which she would like franked with 'our' franking machine. Only problem - we don't use one!

So I was going to write back with suggestions for other clubs which might be big enough to warrant franking machines. Given the subject matter, I guess British bike clubs would be best.

Any suggestions?

Hi Lizzie,

I agree with Webbyc and Crust, they (HA and VMC) maybe worth a try.

What about the 59 club ?

I'd love a Brough Superior (motorcycle, not the stamps) preferably the SS100, Lawrence of Arabia's bike will do nicely.
Vincent Black Shadow, any Indian, any pre 1950's Harley-Davidson a Knucklehead will suffice and above all an ACE.

Sorry I'm getting carried away
