M750 in GSE INS colours - official Ducati model or not?

I've just looked at a 2001(Y) M750 in immac. condition with 2000 miles on the clock - virtually unused. It's in the Orange and White GSE colours and very nice it looks too imo.

I was wondering if this was an official model and an average price. I'm looking for a second bike for possible commute into london rather than taking the train every day (without spoiling my 996SuperModel)

Anyone know?

That's not an official model, no. It'll be an aftermarket paint job.

I think it was done by the dealer to sell off older stock. Any idea on average prices for M750

I would think no more than £2,250 tops for an immaculate low mileage bike - with FSH book too.

Remember its a carbed model - so if wanting a commuter in the winter - you could have potential carb-icing probs (which are reasonably easily solved - ish)

Its due its 2 year belt service this year- so if really keen - get that chucked in too

Otherwise £1,800 ish.......
