Mmmmm Kielder my favourite! Went up twice a couple of weeks ago 400 mile round trip each time. Well worth it though. I am gonna see if I can manage it this week if I can get away without doing all the DIY taht needs doing at home. Wheres this Carter Bar? Not on my map!?

Look for the 696/ 68 to the scotish border. It isthe border point. However! Sunny forecast has turned to thunderstorms. It's gonna have to be look out the window on Sunday morning and make a decision whether it's worth it there and then.
