MINICHAMPS pre-orders???

I want to pre-order a bunch of models but I'm not sure who to use. I don't want to pay up front, but I don't mind paying a small deposit. I know GPL let you do this, but I'd rather not use them.

Trax models look good - has anyone used them, and if so what are like to deal with??? Is there anyone else worth looking at???

Dave, I have pre ordered with Trax, and if your order goes over £200 then post free. i have also bought some models from swapmeet, they gave a small discount. Trax wont debit your card until they send the models.
What are you getting?

Adam: In release order I'm going to get:

2004 Toseland
1997 Rossi 125
1999 Rossi 250
2004 Chili
2004 Reynolds
2004 Kagayama

I'd like to hear from someone who's actually used Trax if there's anyone out there???

yep me

i'll put my life on them twinfan, tell them that the boy from cornwall recommended them to you through this site.

far better than gpl, will only charge once for postage on a order like that even though they will send 7 parcels. i have 6 or 7 on pre order and have bought about 10 pre orders from them. really friendly and full of knowledge, you will not regret using them

everyone else is selling the sheene at 39.99 instead of the 49.99 minichamps recommended and as a good will gesture theyve sent out a £10 voucher, all the classic range should be 49.99 but for some reason the sheenes are out at 39.99

next time i ring i will try and get a dsc discount

Sound like Trax are worth a call, can one of you guys give me their number?

I've just about caught up with the "old" models i want(except the Corser 99 & Bayliss 2003,but i'm working on those), but i don't want to end up in the same boat, so i'll pre-order the ones i want,it's easier that way!!

I want;
Bayliss 2004
Capirossi 2004
Toseland 2004
Laconi 2004
Chilli 2004
Xaus 2004
Hodgson 2004
McCOY 2004
& any other Ducati race bikes that appear!!
