Starter solenoid? \'It It \'Ard With A \'Eavy \'Ammer!

I never realised you could do that.
Like plenty of other peeps, I suppose, I've clouted a car starter solenoid when it started sticking. But never thought to do it with a dinky little bike unit.

So when pressing the starter gave zero response, I took off the fairing and battery, cleaned the connections, removed the solenoid, clened it's connections, put it all back togetherm and... nothing.

Rang louigi for some pointers. He advised the hammer. After a couple of attempts, job's a good 'un.

I'll be bearing that in mind in future. New solenoid going on tonight.
