Have the chance to buy the following standard bike for £6250 HPI clear etc. Whats your thoughts? April 05 Ducati 749s Biposto. Red. 20 months full manufacturers warranty remaining from Riders Ducati in Bristol. 560 dry miles. This bike has been kept in my house since I have bought it and not in a garage/shed. It is in immaculate condition and still virtually brand new. It is a UK bike with all the documentation and I have a genuine reason for the very reluctant sale.
that is cheap, i've been looking for a while and just paid £6175 for an 04 749s with 1500 on the clock. it could be an [unofficial] import (which i think mine is) and i've seen them on sale new around £7300 (kjmsuperbike.com to name one). if it's the new style swingarm etc then i'd bit his/her hand off, either way it sounds like a bargain
I'm a bit confused. Are you selling the bike or buying it? If you're buying it and its a UK bike in mint condition as it appears, its a great price. If you're selling it, its very cheap and probably less money than an '04 bike.
I'm buying, that was his advert. Its a UK 04 spec 05 reg bike from Riders Bristol, think he needs a quick sale, was on E bay but did not reach reserve. I bid £6150 and he has come back to me at £6250 which he says was his reserve. Going to look at bike / get HPI and will take it from there. Thanks all for your comments
