Looking for clothing at the NEC - worth a trip?

Following on from the 'helmet visibility' thread, I have decided that I need to get another helmet for next year as well as some leathers (possibly).

So, of those who went to the NEC this year, can you recall what the discounts were like on the helmet side of things? Not sure what brand but something 'Race rep' ish and quite like the OGK designs. The main criteria is visibility when in race crouch on track.

Also, looking for Dainese Ducati leathers (48) so if anybody recalls anybody doing deals on those, I'd be grateful.

And finally, getting back into motocross so looking for a couple of helmets so again, any pointers would be appreciated.

Or was it all pants and I'd be better off waiting for the Ally Pally show as it's nearer to me (SE London / Kent).

Thanks all

simon

There's some good deals on Arais and Shoei. there appears to be much more in the way of helmets this year so prices should be good.
Can't recall seeing any Dainese "deals", let alone Ducati branded stuff.

Marchi,
I'm going tommorrow with a few purchases in mind but I try and check up on prices before I go to avoid show price fever.

You might be surprised by a trip to ya local bike shoppe, this time of year there are some very good deals to be had, clearing the shelves of this years stock/keeping the wolf from the door over winter.

If it's lid you are after there ain't no better place to try a massive range than the NEC. show?

I got a new Arai rrp was £399 got it off the nice ladies at the Infinity stand for £250 so was happy with that
Didn't see any Ducati leathers but then again wasn't really looking for them, the Dainese stuff I did see wasn't really much cheaper.
