Sad bit of news in this weeks MCN - Massimo Laverdas has passed away. R.I.P

I always thought it was funny how an Italian manufacturer should copy Honda and not the other way round, I`m refering the the 750 Twin.

Yup, spotted that as well Massimo started the big twins then triples Laverda became famous for, the 750 SFC being one of my all time favourite bikes. A sad loss

I went to the factory for the 50th anniversary in 97, still got the hand numbered presentation book they gave to us and stil use it for reference on old Laverdas, its a trip I'll never forget.

Duc Glasgow have a jota in at the mo, think they only have it so that if anyone complains about a ducati clutch being heavy then can show them what a real clutch should feel like
