Microsoft \"Project\" - Help please!

Started getting to grips with Microsoft "Project" as a planning tool at work and now find ourselves (me especially) needing to know more about data manipulation therein

Can anybody recommend (or point me in the direction of finding out about) any courses for 3 people South of the Thames (pref near Portsmouth) for using this software please

Any (helpful ) advice please e-mail paul.sutliff@vtplc.com or call 023 9253 9712

I've used interquad for my training (MS Partner) and been happy with them, no idea if they have an office near you though. Depending on the length of course (days) you might get some discount, I organised courses for 4 of us here which came to about 30 days training, after a bit of haggling I managed to get the courses for 1/2 price due to the number of days we'd booked... might work for you also.

Depends what level you're looking for. If you're already an experienced project manager just looking for training on the application or if you need a bit of PM training thrown in.

There are quite a number of Web Based and CD-Rom based courses (even MS Project for Dummies gives you a working knowledge) but if you want something specific in terms of setting up views, filters or what have you you may want to get some face-to-face training.

Pygmalion Training in London do it, never used them myself so can't recomend them

I'm working at home today Paul, but the guys at work use MS Project, so I'll ask them tomorrow how they got up to speed.

Paul,

Interquad are a good group as JPM's already mentioned, they also run training courses for our stuff. They've got a training centre in Reading.

You could also try Parity training in Fleet.
