Tough news mate.
Keep looking on the positive side, and keep up the treatment and it will improve, it's just a lot harder work than we ever want it to be !
I've had 4 shoulder operations in all to stop nerve impingement - so I know a bit about muscle wasting - some of the exercises to work the small muscles underneath the shoulder blade are much harder work than you believe possible ! But ! They do pay off when you keep at them !
Especially when you're an active type - as there is the incentive to go through the pain and get back to fitness again.
Funnily enough, I stopped playing rugby when a bloke was tackled in front of me just as he was about to pass to me - and I heard his ankle break - and saw the bone come through.
But them I'm a weedy little pom, not a lardy oz monster
