748 Rev limiter
Went out yesterday for a little shake down, not been out for a while and I hit the Rev limiter in first gear. Got carried away with the engine note. So the question is what is the optimum revs to change up?

748 Bip plus:
Scorpion race cans and chip
Open carbon air tubes and JHP bell mouth filter
14/40 gearing

Does hitting the rev limiter cause any damage?

I try to stick to 10,000 max on the R.

U shouldn't make a habit of bouncing off the limiter. I find 8-9k is ample. Shift there and wind it on through the bend.

10k on a R is still shifting at rapid rate.
