Mood: depressed!
For Frank iconic944ss

My 750ss was bought as a non runner, which had some light nearside damage. She had been standing in the open air for over two years.
I bought her for a song, then took her home. Hours of cleaning the bird shite of her, revealled the paint work was as sun bleached as I thought, and she polished up well. I fully serviced her, then got a good old fashioned spray can of white paint, and went to work on the body after filling and repairing the scrapes and cracks. The only real mod was the fitting of 900ss showa fully adjustable forks, and changing the zorsts and screen which I bought from Paul James of this forum. The suspension settings for me were done after much riding over a local road. I am afraid I did not make a note of them but she was pretty well set up in the end. The graphics were from Morgan Designs and were perfect.
I sold her for an R6 which I am rebuilding, but back to standard. I will buy another Duke though next year, but probably a 916 or similar.
