Ducati's carbon is made from pre-preg carbon as opposed to wet-lay, which is the same method used with GRP. Pre-preg is stronger and lighter, but also more expensive. Ducati used to use MS in the Eastern Block somewhere to manufacture the stuff for them, I believe. The MS symbol always was on the inside of their panels. Recently, I heard the switched suppliers, not that it really matters.
The other pre-preg manufacturer is CarboTech in Austria. They manufactured the Audi Le Mans car chassis, entirely from carbon fibre. I think JHP sells their stuff in this country. The also made a carbon frame for the 916 some years ago! Have a look here: http://members.aon.at/carbotech/
