Worth a try .. 916 wanted

Hi

Well here I go ..

I'm after (along with everybody else!) a 916 that needs TLC or a full restoration. I don't mind if it's a Foggy rep or a Biposto (prefer the Foggy!) I just want a project 916 that over the next few years can have its clock turned back (figuratively speaking!!) and be factory fresh.

So if you either have or know of ... Please drop me a line.

Thanks and my fingers are crossed :-)

Just had a look on ebay and they are going for big money. To be honest you will probably be better building one from scratch. Once you have the 916 frame and engine any of the other generic 748/916/996 parts will come along cheap enough if you are patient.

I just stole a 996 tank (needs painting) with pump and all fixings off ebay for £63.

Um, they're certainly starting to firm on prices. But there must be one out there that needs attention?

Everyone wants a fixer upper though. You might have a better chance of a cheap 748 and then just hunt for a 916 frame and engine. Unless having 748 in the frame number is a problem.

As the saying goes. If it has pistons or t1ts it's gonna be expensive.
