Aus V Brazil (spoiler)

If anyone asked me last week if I'd be pee'd off about Brazil pumping two past us I'd have said no.

And I'll probably get a load of flack for this but I thought we could have won that game. We played well, we played with spirit and never gave up. We committed men forward and substituted for strikers - we wanted it! They played the way an Australian team should play I reckon, and I'm proud to come from the sunburnt country.

I'm absolutely gutted, I'm off to find a quiet corner to cry in ...

This must be the "Australian attitude towards losing" that the commentator was talking about!

If your boys play as well against Croatia, you have something to celebrate.

No worries Mav, I didn't take offence.

Yeah, we got a bit of a touch up in the end - but I'm still proud of them, I really liked the way they didn't care about trying to keep the score respectable, they just wanted to win.

What I can't believe is that we're second in our pool, we need a draw against Croatia to go through. It's still an ask but if we play the way we have been in the last two games we'll win.

Come on the boys!!!!

Yep, the score flattered Brazil.

I wish England played like that.

if it is any comfort I have a not very happy Brasilian in the house right now, , -I hear stomping around upstairs, - I will stay down here and pretend that I am working! The realization that the team is not at their best has hit home, - and with the Argentineans playing as well as there are somebody is not happy!
