Exclamation 815 '89' on Ebay.

You all need to take a look at the 851 for sale on eBay. I could not believe it when I saw it. It is a beautiful example, well designed well worth the money.

Mmmmmmm........not sure.........but the underseat exhausts look quite good. Sounds like it has been done properly so shouldn't be hard to put back to standard. I imagine the conversion was done when the 916 was expensive to buy and the previous owner wanted a 916 but couldn't afford one.

Might go cheap.you never know.

There's another thread on this somewhere else on the site.

I think it's truly horrible. The irony is that if it was in pukka 851 guise it would be worth much more (and also more than a 916 would fetch).

You only need to read this months PB to see how sought after reasonable 851/888's are becoming, 916's will probably have to wait another 5 years for their retro revival.

Smile It's mine

I've brought the bike, it needed me, it was upsetting me to much.

Now I'm going to cut it up and make a low rider (JOKING).

Finally found an 851 then mb

Could be a good buy if the price was right as he claims nothing was modded to fit the 916 style body work and all the 851 bodywork comes with the bike
