4D is not a happy bunnie
Had a nice neat white envolope posted through the door Yesterday, opens it up to discover a NIP . I could not remember going through a camera at 40mph in a 30mph zone. I visited the said camera only to discover that I had pulled out of a garage across a double carriageway and as I pulled away to mix with the flow of traffic triggered the camera not 5 meters from the garage entrance, it was dusk and I was more thoughtful of getting across the road with out getting my arse kicked by incoming traffic than looking for a bloody camera. Bugg@r Pete. Sounds like a very dodgy place to site a camera - nothing new there then! Is this in Dunstable. I know those cameras are pretty hot there.

seem to remember Princess Anne getting off a speeding conviction with the defence of "defensive driving" or was it "its my mums road, so swivel" :-)

might be worth a shot.

Don't worry Tony, you can't get pregnant from someone flashing you...

Sorry to hear of your woes Fordie. Sounds like you can appeal though, no?

4d,

If you are feeling cross enough have a look at www.pepipoo.com

There are ways and means of fighting back, the scamerati don't like it it up 'em and is possible to use the law to your advantage against the bluffers that populate your local speed tax office.

Oh BU66ER !!! Are you sure they haven't got it wrong mate? MCN have been wittering on about how dodgy speed cameras are on bikes - nabbing them at the wrong speed etc.

Even a 996 can't go from 0-40 in 5 metres. You sure it wasn't a car that set it off and just clocked you as well?

If it's only 5 metres from the garage, how about going past the camera on your back wheel next time, at least your number plate will be facing the ground
