Calling all the Big Bore Boys

So, have you told the insurance company you're now riding around on a bike with a well modified engine?

What was the respones?

How much, if any, did they hike the premiums?

Who are the most understanding companies or brokers?

Regards,

Rob

Got to tell them the engine has gone from a 748RS to a 998BP engine, so is now 1bhp less, but as the 748RS wasn't on their original listing they stuck it in group 17 anyway so shouldn't really be a problem telling them about the extra CCs.

With Carole Nash on a multi bike policy that use to cover my Harris Magnums. I have a full no Claims discount, held a full motorbike license for 25 years and its clean. Bike is garaged and fitted with a Meta approved immobiliser.

Mood: My Jota goes rumpety rump! & I have my wife exactly where she wants me!
I have just re insured my toys with Carol Nash and it cost £460 fully comp for both my Jota & 998sMono,

I thought that was quite good.

H & R use an underwriter that isnt too concerned about some modifications. They will only replace to original spec (not modified) in the event of a claim though.
Found them a little cheaper than CNash when I wanted Termi peace of mind.
