888 Rear axle assembly

Lads and Lasses,

When the real wheel is out, on the left hand side, there is a washer with a taper on one side.

I think mine is the wrong way around. It is currently fitted with the big flange to the wheel bearing. I assume that this should actually be against the swing arm and the small diameter face, against the wheel bearing inner race.

I noticed it the other day and a recent posting on the big list has just confirmed my suspicions.

I can't see it in the manuals.

Regards,

Rob

Yep,the taper should go in towards the wheel bearing.
