Carol Nash Insures my Jota and 998s for £460 fully comp which i think is a good deal.

I wondedr how much they will want for a CCM R30!

rcgBob, have you tried Footman James? I used to be insured with Carol Nash, when I got the old Gilera last year they had no knowledge of what it was and so wouldn't offer cover. I rang around and went through Footman James who specialise in classic bikes-like the Jota! Anyway they quoted me for the Gilera so I was going to have 2 policies-then I thought 'I wonder if they will insure the other Gilera and the Duke as well' Well they did and the combined cost was £120 less than Carol Nash wanted for the other 2 alone-result. I had to be a member of the Classic Motorcycle Club or another recognised club-which unfortunately DSC isn't-but £25 a year for a £180 saving is a bit of a no brainer. Worth a call when you need to renew.

I did try Footman James but they were not even close to Carol Nash.

Might ring around again this year for another quote when its time to renew.

I used to have a Norwich Union Rider Policy many yrs ago and was the best policy I ever had, they took the sensible approach that you could only ride one bike at a time.

Its a pity no others do a similar policy.
