1989 Kwak 400?reliable?

well if paul cant get his mate to sell me his vfr then theres a kwak 400 about 2 miles away from moi which is in good condition.
its black and gold,done 30,000kms and is bog standard,its got the 33bhp with it but not installed.£1500?

how long do these engines last for?
i will be doing about 10k miles this year hopefully.will change oil every 1000 miles.

anyone ever owned one?

Hi Jewel,
Have only had a race one so can not comment apart fom that they can blow a head gasket ocassionly.
Having owned on the road & then raced for three years sold it & then it has been raced for another two years with out the motor being opened or tuned is a NC29 Gullarm, damn well bullit proof, nice bike to ride,& race.

Not sure about the early Kwak 400s, but listen to Chris as he knows what he's talking about when it comes to 400's, Just had a look at Mike Davis site http://www.robsomracing.co.uk/ got a couple of reasonably priced 400s on therevin the for sale section.
