Just over a week to get some specially intensive left hand training in then; ready for one hours worth of clutch action on the day.

Did this run in 2002 on the Duke - my left wrist was murder for days afterwards.

But the day was worth it.

Cheers

Have a word with Nelly he does a very nice bit of kit that reduces the effort needed to pull in the clutch, I have one fitted to the 749 and it makes a big difference

Thanks for advice Daz. I have another solution though - I shall be going on my Fazer!

Two main reasons for this:

1) The number of clutch operations will not result in chronic wrist ache - the Fazer clutch plate/basket life is much greater than that of the Duke and cheaper to maintain!

2) I have taken the rear footrests off the Duke and fitted rearsets, etc. so my other half can only ride bareback now - I dont mind, but she seems to have a problem doing this sort of thing (can't understand why - she is just being unreasonable me thinks)!

Cheers, may see you there?
