Unbelievably my 750 has sprung into life, for no reason I can fathom.I was replacing the brake lines and thought I'd turn the key while I was there.
It runs as rough as a badgers **** and has the odd backfire but as this'll be adjusting the mixture etc.,I'm not too worried,at least it started.
If it starts tomorrow I'll consider taking it out on the road-possibly to Ducati Glasgow,a run of 25 miles or so,though I dont know if thats a good idea or not on a bike thats not running right.(and has crappy squared off tyres)
Theres some oil coming from the carb heater lines but I've turned off the switch for that and will fix it in due course, and I'm sure I had a little petrol leakage which may have been from a breather-but I'm not sure,I cant see anything leaking when I run the engine.
What else should I do to ensure its not going to end in disaster?
:P
I've run it for only ten minutes as it has a tendancy to cut out a lot,I got some heat into the cylinders though, for what thats worth.
