Wanted: 900ss ie fuel tank

Hi all, I bought a 900ss and although in good general conditions I discovered the tank is quite rusty inside. I gave a clean and the filter poured dark brown gunk . I will need a new tank eventually. PM me if you got a tank lying around you'd like to get rid of/sell and hopefully with no rust.
I wonder if they made a plastic tank for this bike.
Ciao, Alex

This seems to be a common problem with the SSie tanks. I have 2 which have done this now. I would look into treating your existing tank as any replacement will do the same.

You could try POR-15. I did it on my tank and it's good stuff.
