And Kagayma back to BSB WORX Suzuki

I to wonder who will get the second Aprila seat, there are a few out of work MotoGP riders that may be eyeing it up

There may be a second Aprilia team with two riders too. Rumour has it Shakey and Camier. I thought Vermuelen would end up as Biaggi's teammate but went to Kawasaki. I think Broc Parkes will get the second Kawasaki seat too. I don't know who'll get the second factory Aprilia seat next to Biaggi. Maybe Sykes? What about Hopper?

Shakey on the second Aprilia would be very exciting, IMO

anybody else of the mind that in this Country we are doing something very wrong as none of our riders have made it in Moto GP? The only one that looks to be able to get there is Bradley at the moment. All that try come out and then end up in SBK or BSB.

Might be wrong but I think the trouble is that the earnings are too good in BSB so the riders aim for that rather than do the years and learn the ropes through 125 and 250 GP.

The hope was that MotoGP going 4-stroke would allow a step across from SBK but none of the riders have been able to consistently compete with the front few who all come out of 2 stroke game.

Seems to work OK for a few of the Yanks
Edwards made the step across and now Spies will be giving it a go
As Casey Stoner did a fair bit of racing in this country so does that show that Uk racing does have the potential to get riders into Moto GP

And at least with a fair few Brits getting into WSBk at least we get to support them race twice in a day

but does it really work for them? Colin Edwards was a class act in SBK but in MotoGP is (dare I say it) second division, - his number 5 suits him well! The boys at the top in the Premiership are Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa. And the one thing they have in common is racing 125/250's on the Grand Prix circuits.

Ben Spies might be something different, - I hope he is, - but then that hope was the same of Vermullen, Hayden, Haga, Hodgson, Byrne, Toseland etc, and again those guys were just not able to consistently run with the top end of the field.
