tank weights/what forks

one for a sticky to add to DD info Kev?

or better still, how about an 'interchangable' sticky? Wheels, brakes, coils, swingarms, whatever...most of us have asked (or will ask) these questions

Class A are allowed adjustable Showa or Marzocchi forks from a OEM Ducati that fit in the standard yokes, these include the following

Monsters, STs and Supersports
M900, M900ie M1000ie, S4 and S4R, 1000S2R
then there are the ST2, ST3, ST4 and possiblty the ST4S,
along with 900SS, 900SSie, 1000SS
and possibly some of the sports classics,

Also the later 43mm forks are the same diameter tube as the superbikes so it should be possible to use parts from the superbike forks in the non adjustable forks.

I haven't done it myself but things to consider are the lengths

The Superbike Showa forks from a 748/916 are 715mm in length

The Non Adjustable 43mm Monster forks are 695mm in length

The Non Adjustable 43mm Supersport forks are 735mm in length

Using the Supersport forks for the conversion will reduce the amount of Suspension travel available by 20mm so springing will need to be set accordingly
