UPDATED 06/01/2012 - CHANGE of VENUE

Information from Dave and Karen at Hottrax about the awards evening for the 2011 season

The awards evening for 2011 will take place on Saturday 21st January 2012. The venue has now been moved to Horwood House, Little Horwood, Bucks, MK17 0PH and will be priced again at £50 per ticket.

Awards will be presented for the top 5 in all of the main Championships, first place in the MaxiTwins and Streetbikes and top 3 in all Rookie Championships.

There has been a change of Venue for the Awards evening the reason for which is contained in the Text below that Karen from Hottrax sent to Trudi yesterday

There has unfortunately been an unavoidable development with the venue at the MK DONS Football Stadium and the management informed us recently that the event could no longer take place there as a Rugby Cup match had been drawn recently and the venue chosen is the MK Dons Stadium, this event is also being televised by Sky Sports and the time slot for the start of the match is 6 pm which clashes badly with our event.


Consequently we have had to change the venue to Horwood House in Little Horwood near Milton Keynes. However, we don't think that any of you will be disappointed as this is a huge upgrade to the Stadium and the staff there have worked very hard to accommodate us on the 21st. I believe that the majority of you have booked rooms at the Hilton - they will be contacting you in the next few days to let you know that your room booking has been automatically moved over to Horwood House - there is no need for you to contact the hotel. Staff from the Hilton will also be sending out replacement tickets and letters explaining the situation to you directly.


There are still plenty of rooms available at Horwood House if you are still needing to book a room - the price will remain at £70 in line with the Hilton's price. There will be a link on our web site in the next few days direct to the Horwood House booking system.
